New and old BIKES BY OTHERS!!!!

OK, this is a new page added to look at a couple of powder coat experiences.    If you reached this, you read my comments on finding a local, industrial powder coater willing to run my bikes along with his 'regular' work at $50 per bike - a real bargain in the powder coat world.   So I took my yellowbike to him (after two seasons and maybe 5,000 miles she needs a facelift), and even took a second bike just made.   What the heck, give it a try.   The images here are as high density as my camera can manage, taken just tonight, on Feb. 21, to review the paint as I received it this afternoon.

The forks for both bikes.   He masked the brake studs.   But on the yellowbike he sprayed out the fork stem - I had to scrape it down to get the crown race on.

Front of the yellowbike looks good!

The whole frame.    And, later....

Assembled 2/24/07, or I should say re-assembled.   This gorgeous bike has maybe 5,000 miles on it as of now!

This is the black bike with powder coat, also on 2/24/07.    I might put this one up on EBay - looking for a home.....
