New and old BIKES BY OTHERS!!!!

 

This was my bike 2002-4, the prototypical EZ Clone (with many extras finally)

This is 'yellowbike2' - built last Winter as a personal challenge - could I build a Mach 2 I would like ENOUGH to trade it for my old and trusted (and dialed in/comfortable) friend yellowbike above?

I could.   I did.   yellowbike2 has done the whole 2005 season now, and we are good friends.    Sweet.  Very.

This, waaaay back in First Assembly, is the real difference between an EZ Clone and a Mach 2:

Side by side, the two styles of bike look like this:

Here is a Mach 2 alone - this one is bare metal, without brakes and shifters yet, you you see the bike.

This was the first Mach 2 I was happy with two years ago.   It is not the yellowbike2 above.   Practice, practice, practice.
